He's been framed for murder; he's on the run from everyone... and now, he's low on gas. Liam Neeson stars in The Mongoose, a high-octane action thriller that puts the veteran action star behind the wheel of a high-powered muscle car as he tries to outrace his pursuers. Today, Collider is proud to team with Samuel Goldwyn Films to exclusively present a sneak peek of the movie before it hits theaters later this month.

In The Mongoose, Neeson plays Ryan "Fang" Flanagan, a war hero whose good name has been slandered by false accusations. Framed for the murder of his ex-wife's abusive boyfriend, he's forced to lead the police on a cross-country high-speed chase behind the wheel of a 1965 Shelby Cobra; the Cobra, of course, is the natural enemy of the mongoose. The cops are close behind, but Flanagan has some old allies who are glad to lend a hand in his great escape. In addition to Neeson, the film also stars Marisa Tomei (Spider-Man: Brand New Day), Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning), Michael Chiklis (The Senior), and Maurice Marvel Meredith (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters). The film is directed by Mark Vanselow; it's his feature directorial debut, but he's no stranger to Neeson, as he's served as his long-time stunt double.

In our sneak peek, Flanagan stops at an isolated gas station to fill up his ride, deflecting questions from the attendant who should probably let him know that he might not exactly have acquired the car legally. The attendant finally gets the hint when a phalanx of police cars roar by, sirens blazing, and he notices the wound on Flanagan's ankle. Soon, he's on a race against time to fill his tank before the police locate him. Will he evade his pursuers and clear his name? You'll have to find out when The Mongoose debuts exclusively in theaters on October 30.

Where Can Liam Neeson Be Seen Next?

This year, Neeson starred in the horror comedy Cold Storage, alongside Georgina Campbell and Joe Keery, and The Fix, an Iran-set actioner with Zachary Levi. Next, he'll star with Talia Ryder and Whitney Peak in the crime drama 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank; it's set to be released next year.
