While Robert Pattinson continues his terrific year with Primetime, Alan Ritchson is proving his popularity across three different platforms. His latest theatrical release, Runner, is on the verge of hitting the $15 million mark after 10 days of release, while his streaming sensation Reacher remains one of the most-watched shows in the world. According to the latest Nielsen report, Reacher remained at number one for the fifth week in a row on the overall streaming charts, with its spin-off series Neagley set to take over when Nielsen shares updated figures. Meanwhile, with streaming and theatrical in his pocket already, an action movie headlined by Ritchson has passed a major milestone on the domestic PVOD market.

The movie in question was released in theaters in July, after having premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025. It proved to be a commercial disappointment, grossing only $3 million against a reported budget of $30 million, despite receiving mostly positive reviews. The 1970s Detroit-set film now holds a 63% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus describes it as a "memorable ride" and praises its "rollicking soundtrack and visual panache." The film also features Shailene Woodley, who is currently enjoying the success of the new Netflix movie Unabomber, alongside Ben Foster and Pablo Schreiber.
